WELCOME!
Hello everyone and thank you for your interest in learning more about Phi Delta Chi! We are a professional pharmacy fraternity dedicated to growing our members scholastically, socially, and professionally. At Purdue, we are the Tau chapter which was founded in 1916. Our mission at Tau is to “provide a fraternal community that pursues the development of all Brothers to possess grit and dedication, to communicate honestly and effectively, to admit and look at failure with a growth mindset, and to empower the service of others to ensure the longevity of impact”. There are many things that our chapter can do for you, including; mentoring for pre-professionals, providing volunteering opportunities, leadership opportunities, networking, and most importantly a supportive group of brothers. If you are looking to expand your pharmacy experience, grow your own leadership style, take the most advantage of your education, and meet alumni that will shed their experience on you, then you are in the right spot!
HOW DO I JOIN?
We will be hosting recruitment events which are shown below. To be eligible for a bid, you must attend one callout, at least three recruitment events, and attend a final "interview" with the recruitment chairs. Our top priority for this recruitment process is to keep everyone safe while also creating a fun environment for you guys to get to know our active members on campus! We do take all classes from PP1 to P3, as well as BSPS students!
GOT A BID?
After the two-week recruitment session, we will select individuals who will receive a bid through a voting process involving all the chapter members. So make sure you try to talk to many active brothers, especially the recruitment team, to give a lasting professional impression! A bid means you're invited to join our fraternity and become a candidate! The candidacy period takes place throughout the fall semester after recruitment where candidates will meet weekly for some education while also getting to know each other and the chapter members.
